I think I actually can go back "Pink" now!

I'm doing the happy dance again!!! :D

I had to reload my template because my blog didn't work with IE... go figure ...????

Well, I couldn't find a three column template I liked and would look good in pink. So, I had to abandon the "going Pink" theme a little early. My apologies to my followers who liked the pink. I know I loved it! I had even thought about keeping the pink after the October Breast Cancer Awareness theme was up. Oh well. Maybe I will find another good FREE three column template one day that lets me change the background color. Guess I'm just too picky about how the layout looks. Any suggestions are very welcome. :)

Now I have to add all of the gadgets and widgets back to this blog and head on over to my other TWO blogs that are having trouble! Argh!! Things are gonna be messed up on my blogs for a while. I can tell already. :(

I've been TAGGED, darn it!

I had never heard of this before. But it sounds like fun! So here it goes!

I was tagged by a fellow Southeastern U.S. Etsy Street Team member Liv'n Good Jewelry. She is a sweet and funny Southern girl with great jewelry (for sale!!). Check out her blog and go on over to her Etsy shop. She does some awesome work! :D No kidding!

So here are the Tagged rules that she lists on her blog:

1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog. (done)
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. (below)
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog. (below)
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. (ok)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I thought the squiggles were appropriate for my 7 facts.
7 interesting (or maybe not so) and weird (because...I am) facts about me:
#1 - I eat a lot of yogurt.
#2 - I drink soy milk.
#3 - I have 9 pets. :)
#4 - 8 of my pets are rescues.
Some of the places they came from:
* a cat rescued by firemen from a burning house
* a sick dog followed my husband and our other dogs home from a walk
* a cat from the WalMart garden department (she was found living there)
* a kitten left by his mommy in an abandon rental house
My pet blog is at http://LovingMyPets.blogspot.com. Which I really should update for you guys. :)
#5 - I recently cut my own hair. I have decided I trust myself more than most people with a license. I used to be VERY vain about my hair. (But I did an ok job. It is pretty good for a free haircut anyway. ;)
#6 - I'm a scented candle freak!! But I'm allergic to most fragrances.
#7 - Actually, I am allergic to everything!! Well, maybe not everything. But lots of stuff. Like every kind of grass there is. Even grass I've never heard of and I'm not sure really even grows in Alabama.
Ok, I hope that was random and weird enough for everyone. :0
Now, I have to tag 7 other blogs. I wonder why they picked the number 7?
Here they are:
#1 - SpeedCat Hollydale
#2 - She's Chic Boutique and Patterns4All
#3 - Can of Thoughts
#4 - Periwinkle Studio
#5 - Steam Powered
Rings
#6 - Kraftwerks Korner
#7 - Emerald Coast Arts
Now, I'm off to give them the good news! ;D
They liked me! They really liked me! ;)
I'm really excited because my blog was accepted into the Blogging Women directory.
I am so honored to be a member of Blogging Women! This is different than most directories. They actually go out to each site and manually review and approve or reject it. So I guess this means they liked me! :D Thank you Fay and Blogging Women directory!
Five Things to Tell Your Friends about Breast Cancer
Here are 5 things about breast cancer that the American Cancer Society thinks you should tell your family, your friends and any woman you care about.
#1 - All women can get breast cancer. Even those who have no family history.
#2 - The two most important risk factors are being a woman and growing older.
#3 - Women who are diagnosed with breast cancer when it is early and the cancer has not spread, have a high chance of surviving it. Mammograms are the best way to find it early. Get one every year starting at age 40. Tell your doctor if you notice any changes in your breasts.
#4 - Regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol intake can help reduce your chances of developing breast cancer.
#5 - More women than ever before are surviving breast cancer through early detection and improved treatments.
This information was provided by the American Cancer Society, Inc. For more information on breast cancer risk and early detection you can contact them 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-ACS-2345 or visit www.cancer.org.
Newest Networking opportunity for Indie Artists in the Southeast U.S.
The economy has been so unstable lately that it seems like we are all suffering. So I decided to start this Ning network to help get a few more eyes on our handmade items. Because I don't know an Indie artist who doesn't like to buy handmade. Do you?
Come join the newest Ning network for Southeastern U.S. Indie artists. This is a great place to meet sellers and buyers of handmade goods in the Southeastern United States! Come network with people from Etsy, SilkFair, and others. Southeast sellers with their own online shops are also welcome and encouraged to come out and join us.
This fits right in with our October promotion. Visit the SEUS teams shop blog and check it out.
Handmade for the Cure
The SEUS Etsy Street Team is promoting Breast Cancer awareness month in October. Until the end of the month, select shops will have a special section designated for this charitable cause. The shops will donate a percentage of each sale from this section to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, to help promote breast cancer education and research.
Visit our SEUS Team Shops blog for a list of participating Etsy shops. Please go out to the shops and have a look around and help us support this great cause!
